  • Rebooting

    Rebooting

131011mackiewin8restartOn occasions it may feel like life hits us a little bit harder than others. On days like that, it is best to have a support team to call upon or find a quiet space to think and reflect. A friend of mine referred the process of getting still to that of when a computer reboots. Rebooting is a process that we can use to restart ourselves by using quiet time to reset our intentions. Rebooting is simply resetting our minds back to a good.

  • The Big Picture

    The Big Picture

2137872208_76b4859530_oMy favorite saying is “I love it when a plan comes together.” – John “Hannibal” Smith (A-Team). It’s like each of us are unique puzzle pieces and when we get together with others you can see the bigger picture. You never know if they many have a solution to one of your challenges or you may have an answer for one of theirs. What’s amazing ids we all have “whys” but it is not until we come together with others that we can figure out the ‘”hows”.

  • Peace of Mind

    Peace of Mind

peace-of-mindI want to take a moment to talk with you who have loved ones that we wrap a little extra love around each day as they head out. As we have sat and watched TV, seen posts on the internet and read in newspapers, you may have felt like me and wondered what can I do. If there is injustice for one, there is injustice for all! I realized my reason for joining this national company was greater than any compensation plan, it offers a peace of mind, that’s why I felt compelled to write this post. Consider getting a membership that gives you 24/7/365 legal access in the palm of your hand. Please text, call or inbox me for information or visit my Associate Page. Many Blessings- Tonia

  • Playing to Win

    Playing to Win

1280px-family_playing_board_gameLike so many of us, I can get “caught up in the excitement of things and overlook the details in order to jump right in. What takes the wind out of our sails is not taking the time to read the “rules” and then getting the news that you have lost or been disqualified. In order to win at any game, we MUST to know how to play the game. Every game has a set of rules in order to play. Don’t rely on what others tell you, put in the effort to get familiar with the rules of the game yourself.

  • Shifting Gears

    Shifting Gears

615x200-ehow-images-a02-67-v0-shift-gears-manual-transmission-800x800A woman asked “faster alone, farther together?” I answered it takes both, at the right time. Working alone in the beginning helps to gain clarity and focus on your goals, but knowing when to shift gears to build your team will take you farther. A leader knows when it’s time to build. When driving a car with manual transmission, we have to pay attention to when the engine seems to be overworking, that’s when it’s time to shift. Accelerating always requires shifting into higher gears. Failing to shift at the right time may leave you revved up going no where.

  • From Selling to Sharing

    From Selling to Sharing

sharingI recently joined a national company, and as I share this opportunity with others, I am often asked “what are you selling?” which in the past created a bit of anxiety. When I shifted my mindset from selling to share the information, my anxiety dissipated. Some people will choose to buy and some people do not. With a change in perspective, I actually feel like a farmer planting a harvest, some seeds take root and grow and some will not. Changing you mindset, does and will change your life.

  • The Choice is Yours

    The Choice is Yours

florida_sunrise_099There will come a time on your personal journey, that if you actually start to like the person you are becoming, you will make the conscious decision to eliminate all that no longer serves you. Those things are the distractions that block all the goodness that life offers up like the beautiful sunrises or breathtaking sunsets. Life gets more enjoyable and you start to enjoy who you are and the gifts that you discover within you. Life was meant to be enjoyed not endured.

  • Use With Discretion

    Use With Discretion

get-out-of-jail-free-cardBe careful of using excuses as a “get out of commitment free cards”. Breaking commitments can produce inner conflicts within ourselves. Sometimes the best thing to do is just hold off on committing until you are able to determine there are not other conflicts. Be honest and upfront with people. Choose your commitments wisely.

  • Gas Up

    Gas Up

fuelgaugeEach morning make it a priority to make time for yourself. This helps to set your intention for the day. You can do this with morning prayer, meditation or quiet time; reciting affirmations or doing a mirror exercise. The method in what you choose isn’t the point but rather the dedication to the ritual. Think of it like this, you are a car with only one day’s supply of gas. As you go through the day, the gas you have is being used to deal the people and situations. By the end of the day, you are empty. Getting a full night sleep is when you are being refueled for the next day. We all know that you can’t get very far on an empty tank.

  • Heads Or Tails

    Heads Or Tails

flip-coin_5Les Brown has always stated that a person’s opinion of you does not have to become your reality, but in some instances you have to borrow someone else’s opinion of your greatness until you can envision it for yourself. Your words carry great power whether someone is talking about you either negatively or positively and you can build someone up or tear them down by your words. Always keep in mind that whatever you dish out, your surely will get back. There are always two sides to every coin.
