  • Because of You

    Because of You

alone-sad-photos-18There is something to learn from everyone. What folks sometime forget to realize is that the road is often a two way street. You have something valuable to teach as well as anyone else. Perhaps when people cross your path, it’s not because of who THEY are but it’s because of who YOU are.

    Explore the Possibilities

space-explorationMany people describe the type of work that they do when you ask “tell me about yourself”.  What I discovered is what we do is not who we are. As I develop my talents, skills or gifts, I am finding that they are slowly making a way for me.  The opportunities are endless if your are not afraid the be limitless. Take it Personal

9906_09_31_webI was at a four way intersection where it was myself and one other car. I was going straight and they were turning left. I signaled the woman to go ahead and she did the same in return. As I was about to go through she started to go, we both stopped and proceed to go through the same action again. This time as she was turning I saw she clearly was expressing her displeasure towards me. I just sat in amazement.

At some point in your life, if acts of kindness cause you to get angry, you might want to take a hard look at yourself and ask why. You can’t change what your are not willing to confront.

  • Roll the Dice

    Roll the Dice

diceIf you are not willing to ask for what you want, you are automatically accepting the answer no. When we are not pay attention to the “excuses” we give as to why something will not work, you have already set yourself up for failure. Be willing to ask, at least you have a 50/50 chance which is better than a 100% NO.

  • What Are You Bringing?

    What Are You Bringing?

picnicI often hear people say, and I have said it myself, that they want to be invited to the table. My question then is, what are you bringing? In order to get something, one must be willing to give something. You don’t want to be the person invited to a picnic but fail to bring anything to eat. If you are that one, expect not to be invited back.

    Gifted

clear-sense-of-purposeNot everyone is going to support your dream and that’s okay. Everyone is here with a vision or purpose all of their own. When you allow the behavior or emotions of another keep you from your greatness, you are saying that their wants are more important then what you were designed for. You were given the gift of life, what you do with it is your gift back.
