Child listeningThey teach us in Toastmaster that in order to be a great speaker you have to be a great listener. Not everyone is a great communicator and sometimes the message gets lost in translation, but one thing is for sure, everyone wants to know they matter. Sometimes the greatest gift you can do for someone is to open your ears and close your mouth. Just listen and learn.

    You are a Toastmaster!?!?! Oh man, I just found out I like you even MORE! My club is Downtown St Pete Toastmasters. What is yours? Now I understand your drive and commitment – its straight out of the CL manual. =)
